FRANK DECRAINE IS OUR NEW GENERAL MANAGER 

Hello faithful customers and welcome to the month of January.


I come to you now as the new General Manager here at Land Rover Princeton with excitement and positive anticipation as I feel humbled to be leading the helm of such an established store with a truly loyal customer base.


I have 35 years of experience in the automotive industry having started as a detailer, working my way up to Operations Manager, Pre-Owned Manager and General Manager. In between I opened a new Service Center and a Used Car Prep Center. So, in essence, I have worked and experienced every aspect of an automotive dealership. I say that not in a bragging manor; but just to pass on to you, my valued customer, that I understand every aspect of this business and I am here to assure your satisfaction and to serve your automotive needs whatever they may be.

Let me start by giving you a state of the dealership overview.


When it comes to new cars on the ground, Land Rover Princeton is in good shape. We now have quite the selection of Defender, Discovery and Range Rover vehicles ready for immediate delivery as well as  a pipeline of new deliveries scheduled over the next few months. For Defenders we have Defender 110s and 130s with various equipment ready to roll with special APR financing for qualified buyers for this month at 3.9% for up to 60 months. We also have Discovery and Discovery Sport models on hand and available for immediate delivery with that same 3.9% APR financing option. 

As far as the Range Rover line, we have many Velar and Evoque models in our inventory. We also have a few Range Rover Sports on the ground with a plethora of new arrivals scheduled over the next few months. Contact us for information regarding specific colors and available options. Don’t miss your chance to drive one of the most distinguished and sought-after luxury vehicles on the market. 

Our Service Department, with my colleague Walter Lopez (Service Director) at the helm, is right now taking same week appointments so there really is no excuse for putting off scheduled and needed repairs. With the advent of the winter season, it makes more sense than ever to have your vehicle checked out on a regular basis to assure that you get through the snow, rain and sleet without a worry. Our team of Land Rover Advisors and Technicians know your vehicle inside and out and are happy to guide you to assure that you’re kept up to date on your vehicle’s maintenance requirements.

I’d also like to share with you more good news. Land Rover Princeton has promoted Business Manager, Jimmy Krail to the General Sales Manager Position (see more further on in this newsletter).

Jimmy has been a backbone for our finance department for many years and it gives us such great pleasure to be able to move him up the ranks. Jimmy will work alongside myself overseeing the Sales Department and also helping to keep our Pre-Owned Department in check.

Right now, in our Pre-Owned Department we have both Land Rover Certified as well as many other makes and models on hand. In fact, we have a lot of very pretty and sought-after cars. You can be assured that no matter which vehicle you’re looking at in our Pre-Owned Department, each vehicle has gone through a rigorous inspection for reliability and cleanliness to assure your piece of mind.

CONGRATUATIONS ARE IN ORDER FOR JIMMY KRAIL

Friday, January 5, 2024…..Jimmy Krail, long- time employee here at Land Rover Princeton, has been promoted to General Sales Manager. Jimmy, a Manalapan NJ resident who’s been in the automotive business since 2005, is very excited for the opportunity and the challenge.

“Having started in the industry at the recommendation of my brother Mike (current Business Manager, Mike Krail),” said Jimmy “I have had the pleasure of working in many departments here at the dealership. From Sales to Used Cars, to Finance I have enjoyed every step of the way. I love the people we work with along with the customers we serve. I am grateful for the opportunity of filling the role of General Sales Manager.”


In his new role Jimmy Krail will oversee the sales activities of both the new and used car sales departments. Jimmy will assist in the monitoring and training of sales staff ensuring that the department meets its sales targets and customers’ expectations.


“Jimmy has shown the ability to understand the customer’s needs,” added Frank DeCraine, General Manager. “We feel he is the right individual to unite our sales team with a shared vision.”


On a personal side Jimmy Krail has been married for 15 years and has two children. Outside of the dealership you’ll find Jimmy on the ski slope or at a Football Giants game (he’s a season ticket holder). Jimmy also loves to cook and is a rock concert junkie.

We wish Jimmy all the best in his new role of General Sales Manager at the dealership. 

KEEP UP TO DATE ON SERVICE MAINTENANCE

Making sure your vehicle is in for scheduled service maintenance can extend the life of your vehicle and ensure your vehicle’s reliability. This also helps to protect you from costly repairs that may show up down the road when regular maintenance schedules are not followed.


At Land Rover Princeton there is a lot that goes into auto repair and we’re happy to guide you along the way. We pride ourselves in the timely, accurate and reliable service we provide that allows you to enjoy your vehicle without constant worry.


Maintaining a regularly scheduled maintenance plan also prioritizes your safety. Key engine components, brakes, tires and fluids need to be inspected, repaired and addressed on a routine basis. This way, each part is performing at full capacity and not breaking down when you need it most. 


When you take delivery of your new Discovery, Defender or Range Rover you will be introduced to our service department and given recommendations for scheduled maintenance. In addition, during your ownership cycle, we will be in communication with you via email and/or text to remind you of service intervals (You can choose the method of communication so as not to overload you). Also we will alert you of any service recalls, should they ever come up to assure that every service issue is taken care of in a timely fashion.
